Hinenu is an informal, welcoming group of Jews in their 20's and 30's who live in the Portland area and are post-college and pre-kids.  Hinenu means, "Here We Are" - the future of Congregation Neveh Shalom and the Portland Jewish community.  Hinenu hosts Shabbat evening services at Congregation Neveh Shalom at 6:30 pm on the fourth Friday of each month followed by a vegetarian potluck Shabbat dinner at a local home.  All are welcome and knowledge of Hebrew is not required.  Hinenu also organizes occasional social and community service events around Portland.
