Portland Young Adult Shabbat is a collaborative program that coordinates a rotating weekly Friday night Shabbat service and social gathering, hosted by four local congregations. Each service is developed by and for young adults in their 20s and 30s, and each service has its own flair! Come and check it out and don’t forget to check out each group’s page to see what other events they have coming up.

Third Friday, May 17, 2013: Havurah Shalom’s Hamisher Shabbes One last time!
Where: The “Hamishe Shteeb” (2114 NE Multnomah St.) at 6:30pm
What: We have our ultimate gathering of YiddishKeit: song, prayer and hippie food this coming Friday evening. Those of you who have been able to make our little shabbes gathering what it is, we appreciate it greatly. And those of you who lurk in the shadows wondering when is the right time to come check out a young adult led Portland Jew-scene… consider this your invitation.
Vegetarian potluck to follow, no need to bring wine (we don’t allow alcohol).
