Portland Young Adult Shabbat is a collaborative program that coordinates a rotating weekly Friday night Shabbat service and social gathering, hosted by several local congregations. Each service is developed by and for young adults in their 20s and 30s, and each service has its own flair! Come and check it out and don’t forget to check out each group’s page to see what other events they have coming up.

Interested in joining a neighborhood community for Shabbat? Want to meet more people?
Portland Young Adult Shabbat is organizing a new program called Shabbat Clusters. Shabbat Clusters are peer-led, in home Shabbat potluck gatherings.
People from throughout Portland will sign up and be organized into groups of 8-12 people based on age, locations, dietary needs/level of kashrut. Members will be responsible for hosting potluck Shabbat meals 4-6 times over a 6 month period. The first round of clusters started in Fall 2013 and will continue for several more months. A new round of Shabbat Clusters will start in the spring. Check back here or join the newsletter to stay informed!
